1. Yacht Charter Confirmation & Cancellation Policy
Once your yacht is booked, it’s locked in—meaning no refunds, regardless of the reason (bad weather, last-minute change of plans, etc.). We hope you understand that each yacht has only one booking per day, and peak slots get snapped up fast.
That said, we’re not robots. If something unexpected happens, talk to us. We’ll try our best to assist, but do note that charters are generally non-refundable once confirmed.
2. What If It Rains? (Wet Weather Policy)
We get it—nobody wants rain on their parade (or yacht party). But here’s how it works:
☀ Light Drizzle? No issue, the yacht still sails.
🌧 Heavy Rain? The Captain decides if it's safe. If needed, we’ll stay docked until conditions improve.
⛈ Storm or Unsafe Conditions? The Captain has the final say. If they call for a postponement, we’ll work with you on rescheduling.
🚤 Pro Tip: Pick a yacht with covered seating or indoor areas—because let's be real, Singapore weather is unpredictable.
3. What’s Included in Your Booking?
When you book a yacht, you get:
✅ Exclusive use of the yacht for your group
✅ Captain & Crew—no, you don’t have to steer the yacht yourself
✅ Fuel & basic utilities (unless stated otherwise)
✅ Life jackets & basic safety equipment
What’s not included (unless you add them on):
❌ Food & drinks (we offer great dining packages—ask us!)
❌ BBQ service (some yachts include it, some don’t)
❌ Water toys like jetskis, giant slides, e-foils (add-ons available!)
❌ Ice & soft drinks (can be arranged at extra cost)
💡 FYI: Smaller yachts usually aren’t GST-registered, so you save a bit there. Bigger, luxury yachts may charge GST—just check with us to confirm.
4. Food & Drinks – What’s the Deal?
- BBQ Catering – Premium marinated meats & seafood, ready to grill.
- Crew-Assisted BBQ – Yacht crew helps grill your food (optional add-on).
- Private Chef Dining – Fine-dining with an executive chef onboard.
🔹 Bringing your own food & drinks? Some yachts allow it, but BYO fees (corkage/self-catering fees) may apply.
5. Booking, Rescheduling & Late Policy
📌 First come, first serve basis. Once payment is in, your slot is confirmed.
Rescheduling? Unfortunately, It is usually not allowed
⏳ Late?
- 1 hour late? Charter proceeds as scheduled (no extra time added).
🔹 Please be on time! Your yacht crew, catering team, and event setup are all planned according to your booking hours.
6. Safety & Water Activities
Your safety is our priority.
✅ Life jackets are provided.
💊 Motion sickness? Take your seasickness pills 30-45 minutes before boarding.
🔹 Want a lifeguard? We can arrange a professional open-water lifeguard for extra peace of mind. ( additional charges )
7. Damage & Conduct
Respect the yacht like it’s your own.
- The Captain has full authority—if guests behave unsafely, they can end the charter immediately (no refunds).
- If anything gets damaged or broken, the repair cost is on you.
- Be mindful of food & red wine spills, especially on luxury yachts.

8. Insurance & Liability
- All yachts under Yacht Maison are insured.
- However, we highly recommend guests have personal travel insurance for accidents, loss, or damage to belongings.
🔹 We are NOT liable for:
- Personal item loss/damage
- Weather disruptions
- Accidents due to guests’ own negligence
